Katie Holmes shares gratitude for daughter Suri on 46th birthday

Katie Holmes celebrated her 46th birthday on December 18, 2024, expressing gratitude for her daughter, Suri Cruise.

Holmes shared on Instagram a photo of a bouquet of purple roses from 18-year-old Suri, captioning it, “I am so grateful for all of my blessings 💕 especially my daughter 🌷.”

Holmes and Suri share a close bond, with Holmes raising her daughter following her 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise.

Suri, now a freshman at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University, frequently spends time with her mother in New York City.

Holmes attended Suri’s high school graduation in June and assisted with her move to college in August.

Recently, Holmes addressed false reports regarding Suri’s inheritance, clarifying that rumors of a trust fund from Tom Cruise were “completely false.”

She emphasized the importance of protecting her daughter from public scrutiny, stating, “In the world today, I don’t want a target on my child’s back. It’s dangerous.”

Suri continues to support her mother’s endeavors, returning to New York in October for the opening weekend of Holmes’ Broadway show, “Our Town.”
